Since the release of their debut album in Summer 2003, The Kieran Ridge Band CD has received spectacular reviews from DJ's and magazines from Boston to Belgium, as well as a feature article in the Boston Sunday Globe. The Kieran Ridge Band has been featured on dozens of radio stations around the U.S. and Western Europe, including WBOS, one of Massachusetts' top commercial stations. In addition, they have played all of Boston's best small to medium sized venues, been all over New England and New York City and are currently planning their first national tour. They even played a few songs at the Saturday Night Live cast party. All of this in a few short months with no agent, manager, or record company to support them.

Kieran Ridge has spent most of the past year working as a laborer on Boston's "Big Dig" highway renovation project in order to pay for The Kieran Ridge Band CD. The Kieran Ridge Band CD was recently chosen as album of the week by the "I Love Americana" radio show, and album of the month by "Radio Golden Flash," both in Western Europe. In addition, the CD was listed alongside, among others, Waylon Jennings, Gillian Welch, and Lucinda Williams on the Freeform American Roots Music Chart compiled internationally by 3rd Coast Magazine in Texas. The Kieran Ridge Band is a back to basics roots rock and roll band, mixing together the best elements of traditional, blues, country, and classic rock & roll music into a unique style that has become their own. The band consists of guitarist/singer Kieran Ridge, bassist Bill Gluckin, Snyder on drums, keyboardist/singer Chris Coughlin, and lead guitarist Carlos Gonzales.
