Editorial Reviews
One Mile Down started when Henry Lokay and Retta Yarbrough met at Crestview Church and began playing on a worship team together. During their weekly rehearsals for the worship team Retta began bringing in original compositions. Over time, as Retta and Henry began collaborating on more original material, the rehearsals moved from the church to the big, red barn on Retta's property, leading to the concept of Red Barn Productions.
It was there, amidst the hay, rope swing, horeshoes and patio heaters, that One Mile Down was born. Eventually Henry and Retta realized they had enough material for a complete CD. WIth assistance and support from friends and family, Henry and Retta entered Coupe Studios in June 2004 and began recording. After eight months of long studio sessions and re-writing and tweaking, their debut album was completed.
Thanks to everyone who was so supportive and to God Almighty who put Henry and Retta in the right place, at the right time, for the right reasons.
