Product Description
FLYTE is a Duch Progressive rock band with a high percentage of Belgian musicians. A long awaited Musea reissue, "Dawn Dancer" (1979) proves indeed to be a unique specimen of the genre ! Six instrumentalists build a superb symphonic work in the style of YES, of the first KING CRIMSON album or even of GRACIOUS ! Keyboards parts are shared between Jack Van LIESDONCK and Leo CORNELISSENS's fast fingers, who seem to have enjoyed making the Mellotron their king. This last instrument gives way to true classical moments helped by flawless guitar lines. Lu ROUSSEAU shows also that he is a singer with a very wide register, and who has a particular gift to sing both high and low frequencies. To be rediscovered urgently !
