Editorial Reviews

Product Description
BELLAPHON is a typical Eighties Progressive rock band coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Despite the fact that many of its compatriots enjoy feminine vocals, this remains an all-instrumental line-up. BELLAPHON's only official release, "Firefly" (1987), is a wonderful collection of tracks from the heydays of Japanese Progressive rock. That's probably why this Musea reissue was so much impatiently awaited. The music sometimes sounds like CAMEL or AIN SOPH and KENSO, because of its delicate and highly elaborated symphonism with a touch of virtuoso and elegant jazz-rock. Bonus-track "Labyrinth" has been added to the original album. And let's just notice that hardly all the titles have French names. Not to be missed !
