Geoff Baker has spent the last two and a half years writing and recording a concept album entitled, Alone At Night: A Vampire’s Tale. The album is filled with dark, stylish lyrics that are brought to life by Geoff’s vocal characterization of a nineteenth century vampire. His vision was conveyed into the third dimension by co-producer Lee Kopp’s, stunning musical arrangements and sound design.
The two first met at Lee’s studio, Kopperhead Compositions Inc. in 1998, while working on a song catalogue for Geoff. Three years of intense and sometimes frustrating writing and recording passed, until the macabre Still Life In Me was written. Similar songs followed, such as Find Me A Crypt and It’s Over, and the foundation of a musical story was laid.
Geoff Baker is currently working on a theater production of Alone At Night: A Vampire’s Tale for the stage.
