Product Description
DEYSS' music evokes the best of MARILLION and GENESIS, of course with its own personality. "At King" (1985) offers a very sophisticated, energetic and expressive music, with a lot of breaks in rhythms, many climates changes and wonderful combinations between vocals, keyboards and guitar. A very lyrical and technically perfect music. The Swiss musicians' second album, "Vision In The Dark" (1987), is more elaborated than the first record. It is still marked by GENESIS influences in the orchestrations, the richness of the compositions and the instrumentations. Furthermore, there is a YES influence in the vocals. Truly excellent ! "The Dragonfly From The Sun" is a box containing a CD and a 52-page booklet, both telling the story and the first amateur recordings of the band, from its beginnings as a trio (Guitar, keyboards & drums). Apart from the original 1979 recordings, one could also find an instrumental version of a title originally sung nine years after by JEST! ER, and published on album. An essential band, that you have to remember !
