Product Description
An author, composer and performer, Mil MOUGENOT was born in the rigorous industrial Lorraine (Eastern France). He's built his musical tastes between country-roots, blues, folk and rock. His major influences are HOWLIN’ WOLF, John Lee HOOKER, URIAH HEEP, Anne SYLVESTRE, Leonard COHEN and even THE DOORS. His first album "Minimal" (1982) was produced by CharlElie COUTURE, a compatriot with a style comparable to his. This album gave him entrance to the hall of fame of the French national scene. After a twenty-year career and many an event, Mil MOUGENOT comes back with "Poèmes, Prières Et Souvenirs D'Armes" (2003): eleven tracks (Plus one bonus), all refined and poetic, with both suggestive and true lyrics. Here is undoubtedly what we could call a successful comeback !
