About the Artist
Born on September 16,1969 in Long Island, New York, Steve began playing guitar a month before his 16th birthday. After playing guitar for six months, his practice regimen had increased to 6-8 hours a day religiously. At this point he had decided that this is what he wanted to do with his life. After he finished high school in Long Island New York, he moved to Florida where he attended community college and played guitar in the school jazz band. Two years later he moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music. He graduated from Berklee in May 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Music. His major while at Berklee was Professional Music with an emphasis on performance. His main musical influences are Steve Morse, Stevie Ray Vaughan and John McLaughlin.

He has been teaching guitar for 15 years and has been studying guitar for 19 years. Steve endorses Emerald guitars, Ernie Ball/Music Man, Dunlop, GHS strings, Mesa/Boogie, Horizon cables, Soldano, Peavey and Graph Tech. He played bass in "Pain Museum", the new heavy metal musical endevor featuring Metal Mike Chlasciak and Bobby Jarzombek or Rob Halford’s band. He also performs his own music with his 5 piece acoustic world music ensemble in the New York area in addition to playing freelance country, blues and jazz gigs. He has recorded music for independent films as well as background music for MTV, VH-1 and local New York radio stations. He has been featured on several compilation CDs and tribute CDs along side such well known artists as Steve Vai and Marty Friedman.
