2 Ozric's albums in this double set. Disc 1 contains the 2001 album Pyramidion. The band's 18th album saw returning to the exotic Egyptian theme of 'The Hidden Step', a lifelong obsession of frontman and founder member Ed Wynne. The title track takes its name from the mystical Pyramidion, the capstone on the Great Pyramid which symbolized the meeting of the spiritual world with the physical for the ancient Egyptians. The 4 other tracks that make up the mini album, 'Aramanu', 'Pixel Dream', 'Xingu' and 'Sultana Devil' were all recorded live at Sheffield Boardwalk in 2000. In 1999, many of the bands key tunes were remixed by the cream of the dance industry including Will White (Propellerheads), Youth, System 7, DJ BNX and Sparky Lighthouse and Space Raiders from Skint on the Floating Seeds album which makes up disc 2 of this set. Recall. 2005.
