About the Artist
Forbidden from rock n’ roll as a child, Carla Fischi has done more than make up for matters. To compensate for the suburban-infested world of Northern Virginia, as a child, she would write songs on the family piano. She learned about rock ‘n’ roll from her friends and secret sessions listening to her clock radio.

Music was and is her oxygen. On the side she paints abstract art and writes freelance articles. But, after living in Maui for 3 years, at age 27 she decided to take hold of her own destiny and put out her long promised album. She released this debut album, The Wonderlust Album, on her own label Bandana Records.

Her constant companions on her recent Around the World Tour were her electric guitar, along with her 4 inch Fender amp.

Carla Fischi performed anywhere from a Tanzanian cargo freight ship …to a coffee house in New Zealand’s South Island….to a bar off the edge of The Nile River ….to a club in Richmond, Virginia.

She finds inspiration in the music of Dire Straits, PJ Harvey, Fugazi, Nina Simone, Modest Mouse, Patti Smith, and Slant 6.

Product Description
The Wonderlust album is the eclectic vocals of Carla Fischi, beautifully highlighted by her electric guitar, xylophone and keyboard. This debut album leaves the listener wanting more.
