February 6, 2001 marked the debut of Narcotic Self. They played to a packed house - not to another band's fans - but to the over 300 people the band had convinced to witness the Metal Assault they would deliver with their first performance. Narcotic Self is fronted by a promotional machine spreading the word about his band, his music.

Their local music scene is comprised of 317 original artists, over half of which are in the metal genre; yet, Narcotic Self's belief in their music coupled with their endless motivation in spreading the word has catapulted the band from an unknown to top draw status overnight. Narcotic Self captured and maintains the stamp of one of the top drawing bands in their local market.
