L'ENSEMBLE RAYÉ is a group of jolly Swissmen who decided to synthesize the most fascinating tendencies of most unexpected musics. These partners surely don’t live on the same shore as, say, Jean-Luc GODARD. Their art evokes instead that of Jacques DEMY without words, or some talkative Jacques TATI or even some poetic Federico FELLINI. Humour, mischief and know-how blend there together in a caustic mixture. Amongst the numerous releases of the band, one could notice the excellent "Même En Hiver" (1989), reissued by the Gazul label.
