The founding members of spillshadow have risen from early exposure to the limelight. Kyle, who was performing at eight and writing by age twelve and Jason, who has demanded attention since birth, began by singing in grade school musicals and was delving into rock music oblivion by age thirteen.
The creative sound spawns from the diverse musical backgrounds that make up the "core unit" Kyle and Jason.
Kyle trained on classical stringed instruments, plays guitar and piano with eclectic influences, including: new age, classical, and rock. Jason lends a vocal climate that flows from soulful melody to defiant screams. Coming from a background of hard rock and metal the vocals are powerful and dynamic yet haunting and spiritual. These influences combined with technological artistry formulate the incredible depth and presence in spillshadow’s music.
You don’t hear spillshadow’s music. You live it and believe in it.
