in the year 2000, as the new milinimum dawned, five friends came together with one goal...to create music far beyond the pop-punk-grunge sound that was all over the airwaves. Sure, it would be difficult selling a new sound, but that challenge would prove to be the inspiration for experimentation and reflection. The sounds that developed out of that goal must be heard to be understood. Another goal was to write lyrics that must be heard, read, and studied. Love songs are easy...but Ethix wanted more. So they wrote songs that force a listener to hear "between the lines". The results are on display in their first full length release, Perfect Infection.
