For almost 20 years, bait-oven have been prolific artists in the indie-music scene. Founding members Patrick Bamburak and Joe Gutsick continue to write, record, and perform new music, constantly expanding the boundaries of their "bait-oven sound". bait-oven have always defied easy classification. With one foot planted firmly in rock, the band has constantly experimented with musical style. While their earliest recordings fall firmly into the punk category, bait-oven have travelled far and wide through rock, folk, electronica, pop, and even country. But there is always the "bait-oven sound," that quality in songwriting and musicianship that make a bait-oven song instantly identifiable to their fans.
