About the Artist
Teri Falini's debut long player 'Sun Under Me' is full of energy and power. It leans heavily on her jarring yet endearing vocals, delivered with a gravity and weight in common with pathfinders PJ Harvey and Patti Smith. There is a restlessness bounding around in all those lyrics and hooks that come in rolling, unexpected flourishes. She's backed by a straightforward energy of guitar, bass and drums reminiscent of Liz Phair (in her 'Exile' days) and The Pixies, but with a modern day sensibility.

Sun Under Me was produced by Teri and guitarist Mark Caputo and, by a twist of fate and as a labor of love, was mixed by sought-after Grammy winning engineer/producer Sylvia Massy-Shivy, who has worked with the likes of the late Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System Of A Down and Tool. In fact, the record will be released in June on Massy-Shivys National Recorder label on June 7th.
