About the Artist
Egodog is a band of four men taking pride in their art. Tony Oros, Mike McManus, Damian Pampena and Joe Higgins share a common belief that music should make one feel and think.

Gathered from Chicago, Boston and Southern California, Egodog fuses a wide array of influences into a cohesive sound, from the Beatles to Soundgarden, Tool to Queen. The four members of Egodog are schooled and versatile musicians, with a common respect and reverence for the song.

Their three independently financed and produced releases, "Free in Captivity" (1997), "Words Are Kerosene" (2000) and "The Pleasure of Action" (2001) contain songs of strength, conviction, and unwavering individuality.

Egodog continues to compose anthems of hope and empowerment, and aspires to nothing less than setting a new precedent in the rock world.

Teaming again with co-producer Matt Chidgey, Egodog proves again that a heavy band can also be melodic and respectful of a well-crafted song. The heavy and defiant "Whether" hints of production in the Tool/Filter vein, but the opening track, "My Wonderful World" (sung by guitarist Mike McManus) also offers flavors of Egodog influences like Foo Fighters and U2.
