Dr. Murat Salim Tokac started to take ney and ud tutors from his father who is also a neyzen . at the age of 5. He has been inspired by Cinucen Tanrikorur who is an ud performer and composer about all subject of the Turkish Music. He performed solo ney and tanbur with Cinucen Tanrikorur and Fahreddin Yarkin for a CD called Fasil produced by " Le Chant du Monde" in France in 1995. He performed ney and tanbur with " Grup Lalezar" for an album consisting 4 CD called " Ottoman Turkish Music Anthology" which is produced in both Turkey and USA.
