Neal Ramsay has toured the United States eight times. He has given sold out concerts at the John F. Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall including his own three concert Carnegie Hall Series that celebrated the 150th anniversary of the saxophone's invention. He has performed or recorded with such show business greats as Paul Simon, Dionne Warwick, Paul McCartney, "Doc" Severinsen and The Manhattan Transfer. Neal has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning and Walt Disney Productions. His radio credits include, Voice of America, NPR's All Things Considered, Morning Edition and Weekend Edition and Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion and American Radio Theater of the Air.
One of the few individuals to be awarded two soloist grants from the Nation Endowment for the Arts; Neal is also the winner of the Kansas City Young Artist competition. He received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the former Secretary of Education, Lamar Alexander in recognition of his concerts in the schools. In 1998, he was selected as an expert in residence by the Kellogg foundation. From the state of Tennessee, Neal was recognized as The Individual Artist for theYear 2000-2001 in the field of music. His discography contains six solo albums including Saxophone Alone, Four Moods, Point of Departure, Pictures and Other Exhibitions, Sax 5th Ave. and NewStream Christmas. Neal contributes works for the saxophone through Shawnee Press, Medici Music and Dorn Publications. His articles have appeared in International Musician, The Instrumentalist, and The Saxophone Journal.

NewStream Christmas - Christmas Time is Here is a "concept" album in a similar vain of the Mannheim Steamroller Recordings. It features virtuoso performances by saxophonist Neal Ramsay accompanied by the Mostly Acoustic Orchestra. The range of styles includes classical, jazz, pop, midieval and novelty (Sleigh Ride is performed by a twenty piece saxophone orchestra and steel drum band. The intent of the arrangers and performers is to cross stylistic boundaries. Existing music is reformed using unusual instrumentation, fresh harmonization and different rhythm/meters in a fusion of styles. The intent - maintain the integrity of the original work and present it with a new, creative twist.
