About the Artist
Tim Tormey holds a doctorate in psychology with an emphasis in Family Therapy, and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego, CA. He has been playing guitar and writing songs since the age of 8. From his stint in the the boy-band "Scott and Sassy," as a teen-ager (with former New-Mouskateer, Scott Craig,) to his work in the coffeehouse-folkie-circuit as part of the trio, "Tormey and Elliott," Tim has appreciated a lifetime of enjoying performing all styles of music. This is his first solo release of all original songs.
Product Description
In a style reminisent of James Taylor and John Denver, Tim Tormey shares 12 stories in the original music and lyrics of his first CD release, "Hope and Healing," related to his work as a family therapist. Funny, touching, and spiritually uplifting, "Hope and Healing" moves from the simple acoustic guitar/vocal accompaniment on "Creator's Lullaby" to the full-band, 60s-style romp of "Possibility," and everything in-between. With well-developed melodies with meaningful lyrics, "Hope and Healing" is a treat!

Hope and Healing,Tim Tormey,Heartscape,Imagine James Taylor and John Denver mating... ok, so it's not a pretty picture, but the musical result would be Tim Tormey's "Hope and Healing." This is a folk/pop treasure of solid melodies, meaningful lyrics, and top-notch acoustic guitar work.
