Product Description
A sense of sacred space begins wherever you happen to be. For many of hte indigenous peoples of North America, that is the forest. This album (featuring an assortment of Native American flutes along with world percussion, keyboards and guitar) seeks to honor the forest world and all the beings that live there. The music was directly inspired by sacred wooded places I visit regularly, inluding the Blackwater Refuge near Cambridge, Maryland; White Oak Canyon in the the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia; Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland; and my own backyard.
