About the Artist
Hailing from the rhythm family, he has invariably chosen the art of Vocal. He is the son of Padmashri T.H. Vikku Vinayakram and Started his career as a SOLO VOCALSIT at the age of 12. He had an opportunity to get vocal lessons from Gurus like Shri H.Y. Narayanan, Shri O.S. Thiagarajan, Mrs. Savithiri Sathyamurthy, Shri. Bhagavathulu Seetharama Sarma (Kalapeetham, Chennai) and he is getting advance lessons from Smt. Radhaviswanathan Daughter of Bharth Rathna M.s. Subbulakshmi.

He has passed the III level examination in vocal music conducted by "Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal" Mumbai. He is one of the South Indian Student to receive National Scholarship from Government of India, Department of Culture.

He has performed in All Major Sabhas in Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad as solo concerts and he has also trained himself as a Fusion Singer for various Foreign Bands with various Foreign Artists. One of the Band named "Good People in times of Evil" with artists Mr. Jonas Hellborg in Bass and Shawn Lane in Guitar with his two brothers and another percussion Group named "Sapthaakshara" - Group Conducted by his father Grammy Award Winner Shri. T.H. Vikku Vinayakram.

He has toured Extensively to all places in the world for both the Bands listed above. To list a few U.S, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Mauritius, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Indonesia, London, Etc.

He has received many prizes and Awards in the inter-school and College Competition. He has many Awards to his Credits to list a few "Unesco Award" for Millenium 2000 Concert held at Indonesia.

Best Performance Award by "Venkateswara Temple - Pittsburg U.S.A.

"Best Performance Award" by High Commission of India concert held at Kenya 2002.
