About the Artist
Bonnie Abrams ( guitar & vocals ) - an award-winning songwriter, Bonnie has released four solo albums, including "A Sudenyu of Yiddish Song", which was selected for display and sale at the United States Holocaust Museum. In addition, she was a feature vocalist on the band' first release, "Git Azoy".

Rick McRae-(trombone)-Rick has been with the band for 2 years and has been able to raise the level of musicianship by the example he sets. His solos are always worth listening to but his support for the other players is amazing. He uses his instrument to convey much of the emotionality of the music, especially the excitement, beauty and humor.

Rob Mendel ( clarinet ) - founder of the group, Rob brings a passion for the music to every performance. He continues to offer workshops to area schools and directs junior Klezmer bands at area synagogues.

Roey Mendel ( cello, danceleader ) - Roey supplies the bass line and rhythm to the group's vocal arrangements. In addition, she is an experienced dance leader with a reputation throughout the Northeast as one of the best.

Linda Shapiro ( keyboard ) -. Since joining the 12 Corners Klezmer Band, Linda has developed a feel for the Klezmer experience that helps the band create the energy that it's known for. Her imagination in her soloing as well as rhythmic and harmonic support is unrivaled in the region.

Sean Michael Sullivan ( drums ) - Sean has been the primary percussionist for the band since 1998, as they were getting ready to go into the studio for the first time. He is a "musician's musician" because of his talent, good taste, inventiveness, and work ethic.

This is the 12 Corners Klezmer Band's 2nd recording. The selections are all chosen to give the listeners an idea of what its like to spend an afternoon or evening with us.

In fact, we suggest rolling up the rug and moving the furniture to be able to dance along with most of cuts.
