Mr. Mustaff comes from Sierra Leone, West Africa, where he began singing during the days of break dancing and used to lip sync to songs of Bob Marley, Alpha Blondy and Michael Jackson. His first musical group was comprised of his brothers, cousins and nephews called "Musical Wizards". In a high school competition he won first place against 36 others. In 1987, Mr. Mustaff, came to the US, where he joined a World Beat band called "B1 AFRICA". He sang songs of Bob Marley, Alpha Blondy and an assortment of his own compositions. B1 AFRICA played extensively throughout the Tri-State area. After the dissolution of that band, he met up with a reggae musician called Dubside, with whom he played at many clubs and festivals in the Tri-State area. After the dissolution of Dubside and Mr. Mustaffs band, Mr. Mustaff decided to go solo to record his first album "TIME OUT". The Tri-State area has been waiting with anticipation for the release of the album. Mr. Mustaff is a singer ! whose songs are for an audience that enjoys solid song writing, vocal character, and that crucial beat.
