DJ Ruff and Trackmaster T are the creators of New Flavor and the original music behind it. Experience, desire, and inspiration are the elements which construct this new sound in town, that will get your head bobbing and your feet moving. Together, Tim and Ron lay the tracks and write the lyrics to New Flavors original music and this is what makes their music so appealing to the listener. New Flavor frequents the Wild Hare Club in Chicago known as the Reggae Capitol of America and tours throughout the central U.S. New Flavor has shared the stage with a number of well known reggae artists in there short inception, groups such as Zapology, Belizian Vibes, Osezua, RSB Images, Indika Band, Aswah Greggori & The Enforcers, Kepha, David Robinson, Michael Black, Dub Dis, Natty Nation, Boom Shaka, and recently they opened for UK Ragga Legend, Tippa Irie, and Junior Marvin, guitarist from the Wailers.

Tim Burton, known as Track Master T, Producer, Bass Guitarist and Lead Vocalist to name a few, embraces an abundance of musical skillsets. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Tim has toured around the world and performed with leading bands such as Gene Chandler, Staple Singers, Mavis Staples, Billy Always and Prince Production. Tims extensive background in Rock, Pop, R&B and Jazz has granted him the opportunity to write songs for Quincy Jones, Tyrone Davis, Mavis Staples and the band Rufus, Chaka Kahns original band. Tim laces the tracks together for New Flavors music which reveals the reasoning behind the given name of Track Master T. His work and remarkable vocals bring a sweet R&B touch to New Flavors reggae music.

Ron Boyce, Jr., known as DJ Ruff, Electric Ukulele, Lead Vocalist, Recording Engineer and Producer has performed Hawaiian style reggae throughout the Hawaiian Islands for a considerable amount of years. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ron has been inspired by the music and artistic lyrics of the worlds most famous reggae artists such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Steel Pulse, Aswad, & Pato Banton. Rons inspiration has allowed him to excel at his talent of lyrical and musical composition over the last ten years resulting in many of New Flavors originals. Rons rapping ability delivers such a high energy vibe, it will move the crowd off their seats and onto the dance floor.

Family and career circumstances has allowed Tim and Ron to cross paths in Green Bay to develop this new tune in town. Preceding the creation of the band, Tim and Ron initiated Ruff Riddims Production to guide and produce other musical talent as they developed their own tunes. Such a sound is the result of two individuals from two different cultures in two different parts of the world that share the same inspiration.
