About the Artist
The four Alai‘asa brothers who make up the group TOA have their musical roots traced back to their childhood days. Their father served as a source of inspiration in their musical journey, encouraging them as they performed for family and in church and school. Music was an ever-present staple in celebrations, events and experiences.

Family life has played an important role in their sojourn to their self-titled debut CD released in 2002, and the messages that they learned as children are present in their music. Their music speaks of peace, aloha, bravery, courage and certainly harmony. Their road to their first CD called upon the lessons of patience, diligence, hard work and talent.

TOA’s musical talent is unquestioned…their four-part harmonies are unmatched…they choice of material is diverse, unique and exhibits obvious elements of Gospel, R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Funk, and Island Music.

Throughout Polynesia, "TOA" is commonly known and understood to be the name given to WARRIORS.

The Alai’asa brothers, of Samoan heritage, have adopted L-Town (Laie, Hawaii) as their home. Norris, Kalili, Donny and Stave have developed an appropriate acronym as TOA, Teach One Another.

Product Description
TOA’s appreciation for many musical styles presents itself in various ways in the songs on the CD. As modern young island men, the influences of reggae, hip-hop and R&B express their very current lifestyle. They are smart to draw from other inspirational sources, incorporating tight-knit 4-part harmonies in their music and from their Samoan heritage in several tracks on the recording project.

Their choice of material is diverse, unique and exhibits obvious elements of Gospel, R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Funk and Island Music....
