About the Artist
Born in Poland, BAL is one of the most exciting figures to emerge in recent years from that country’s long-standing and widely respected jazz tradition. Extensive gigging in his homeland as well as abroad to include Germany, Israel, The Netherlands and United States led to swift international acclaim, as well as numerous radio and television appearances. In 1997 BAL moved to Los Angeles. During his short time in California, BAL has composed original scores for such films as “Making the Twilight” a documentary about making “Twilight” with Paul Newman and Robert Benton; “Trafficking” feature film directed by Joe Minion; “Holy Hollywood” feature film with Micky Rooney ; "Big Fish" directed by Pascal Franchot and more...

As a recording artist, BAL has worked on numerous CD projects and recording sessions. He recorded with Ray Manzarek (the piano player from The Doors). As a performer BAL is featured on Ricky Martin’s videos; “Livin’ La Vida Loca”, “Shake Your Bon-Bon” and PEPSI commercial, Lou Bega “ Tricky, Tricky “ , “ Ally McBeal Show “ and many others.
