On Saturday, January 15, 2005, I was moved to declare war on STRESS GLOBALLY. Stress, can represent an unpleasant state of emotional and physiological arousal that people experience in situations that they perceive as dangerous or threatening to their well-being. The word stress means different things to different people. Some people define stress as events or situations that cause them to feel tension, pressure, or negative emotions such as anxiety and anger. Others view stress as the response to these situations.
Most psychologist regard stress as a process involving a person’s interpretation and response to a threatening event.
Stress can cause, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Stroke or Heart Attack, Headaches, Back Pain Skin Disorders, Gastrointestinal Problems are an even more common result of stress, Peptic Ulcers Irritable Bowel Syndrome and some inflammatory diseases of the colon and bowel such as regional enteritis (inflammatory disease of the intestine, accompanied usually by abdominal pain are cramps, fever, loss of appetite, nausea and diarrhea. These problems may persist for years; it requires medical treatment, and sometimes surgery.
Understanding stress in the environment as I do, for this reason I was moved to create a CD entitled, It’s Healing Time, Traditional Gospel Classic’s (Easy Listening Series) –Part 1- Martin L. Herring Solo, released July 17th 2004. This project required three years to complete. This product is designed to relieve stress globally. Its Healing Time is all instrumental on Saxophone no accompaniment. Stress covers the globe. Its healing time follows stress where ever it goes, across gender lines, race lines, in the work place, in the car and at home. It’s Healing Time, is designed to combat stress in the work places globally, this CD is ultra slow and easy, a great comforter! I repeat a great comforter!
