Buffalo born singer, (audio mixer and songwriter) David Pascucci ("scooch pascooch") primarily considered a singer who puts his own heart and soul into mostly obscure or lost and forgotten songs is pleased to announce the release of his new album "Inside André Previn". An eclectic collection of mostly obscure songs written by legendary composer/conductor André Previn and former wife Dory Langdon Previn from the classic films "Inside Daisy Clover" and "Valley of the Dolls", plus various film and 'pop' songs from the collaborating team.
David's next CD will comprise of several of his own original songs, plus selections by Charles Aznavour, Neil Sedaka and local songwriters.

This album is a collection of songs performed by newcomer singer David Pascucci that were written by the legendary composer/conductor André Previn, specifically focusing on songs penned with former wife Dory Langdon Previn. It contains songs from the 60's films "Inside Daisy Clover" and "Valley of The Dolls", plus various film and 'pop' songs they wrote. It is truly an eclectic collection of material featuring a 20 piece orchestra for the first 10 songs, and a trio for the other 8 songs.
Highlights on the album are a stunning rendition of the most popular Previn classic "Theme from Valley of The Dolls" first made famous by Dionne Warwick; a hard-hitting version of another Previn classic..."You're Gonna Hear From Me" (most recently recorded by Barbra Streisand on her movie album); a disco/dance arrangement of "I'll Plant My Own Tree"; and never-before-heard lyrics to the very haunting theme "Daisy" from "Inside Daisy Clover".
Mr. Pascucci presents this virtually unexplored material with great enthusiasm, elegance and respect. It is truly a delightful treat to any fan of the music of André Previn, and is a great introduction to those unfamiliar with his songwriting years of the 60's. An album that is truly unique!!
