Editorial Reviews
? We are ecstatic about the positive reaction the music industry and smooth jazz enthusiast are giving the EP,? said Lindsay Guion, In Due Season?s executive producer. ?Each cut is one to remember and this is just the beginning. Serious music lovers are in for a rare and well-deserved treat.? The Bowie, Maryland based group of five master musicians performed and wrote all but one song on the EP, which is the band?s jazzy rendition of ?Let It Snow,? a song already deemed a Winter Season play list "must". From the spicy Latin influenced ?Paraiso? to the sultry haunting ?Sauve? this EP is a tapestry of melodic grooves and soothing rhythms woven together with a stroke of genius. The EP is enjoying airplay both nationally and internationally with radio stations such as DC's WHUR and London?s Solar Radio, adding ?Love Unconditional? to its rotation. ? I will continue to plug In Due Season to def,? said Chrissy J of Solar Radio. ?I?m already looking forward to the upcoming CD!? The band?s full-lenght CD will be out mid 2005. No word on what will be included, just a mention of one or more tracks with a surprise guest artist. With fans not being sure that any of the songs on the EP making it on future IDS projects, the EP has quickly become an collectors item, currently being sold online everywhere. ? This project is a culmination of each band members joy, sweat, tears and love for jazz,? remarked Billy Smith, lead guitar player. ? Although this journey was very personal for each one of us, we wanted to share our love affair with music with the World. This is our love song dedicated to the art of Jazz, the next project? well lets just say it will be a love affair.?
