Product Description
MOLCA is the name of a current Japanese Progressive rock band, describing its own music as "ethnic fusion", which is probably the best way to talk about it. Those five musicians enjoy to play flute, fiddle, strings, percussions, piano, bass, melodion and a handful of exotic instruments, in order to create "Super Ethnic Flavor" (2004). This authentic world-music is to be heard within twelve instrumental pieces, twelve atmospheres evoking each (Or at the same time !) different folk-music, from Europe to Asia, and from Africa To Asia. Each piece has its own personality and identity, a strong melody and a surprising atmosphere. It evolves softly from melancholia to feast. Here's an original music, intensely suggestive and authentic: just brilliant !
