Joki Freud is an Historically Important Forerunner of the 1950's German/Polish Jazz Scene. Featured Here 'live' at the World-famous Sopot Jazz Festival in Poland in 1957 (The Second Year of Its Existence), Joki Freund Displays a Mastery of the Tenor Sax, from which He was Heavily Influenced by American Jazz and Especially Stan Getz who is also Heard Playing Three Years Later in Poland at the World Famous Jazz Jamboree. Accompanied by the Frankfurt all Stars, Freund was a Forerunner and Influence of a Generation in Both Poland and at Home in Germany, and was Instrumental in Starting to Rebuild Relations with the Two Nations after the Second World War.
