BRUNO RÅBERG'S CHRYSALIS COMING NOVEMBER 30TH ON ORBIS MUSIC BOSTON, MA -- Boston-based bassist/composer Bruno Råberg is proud to announce the November 30th release of his fifth recording as a leader, Chrysalis (Orbis Music OM404), on his own Orbis Music label. This new recording features nine diverse Råberg originals written specifically for his new all-star nonet of notable veteran Boston and New York musicians. "Bruno Råberg knows how to make a nonet sing," wrote Boston Phoenix reviewer Jon Garelick following the group's recent Boston appearance. "[His] music moves in subtle, wave-like rhythmic variations through extended song forms colored by warm, pastel harmonies and tone colors."
