Paolo Di Sabatino, is from Teramo, Italy where he studied the piano at a very young age under the guidance of his father. In 1990 he graduated from the Conservatory of Bari with high honors, and by 1994 had finished a specialized diploma in Jazz Studies from the same institution. Having recently ended a three year residence as instructor at the T. Schipa Conservatory in Lecce, Paolo currently teaches Jazz Studies at the B. Marcello Conservatory in Venice.
Paolo has performed in many festivals in Italy including those of Fano, Pescara, Pomigliano, Urbino, the Gargano Piano Festival, Lignano, and Foggia. He has also performed with such renowned artists as: Lee Konitz, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava, John Patitucci, Massimo Urbani, Sandro Satta,Maurizio Giammarco, Irio De Paula, and Marcello Rosa.
