Since I do a lot of solo piano concerts and performances, I thought I'd do a solo piano CD of many of the most requested pieces. I've also thrown in a couple of my favorites. Actually, I have considered I would never do an album with these songs on them because everyone has done them already. But I thought, I still love these songs and have my signature on them so why not record them! Here are some notes about the selections: 'Young At Heart' is one of those songs that makes me feel good. It's just so nurturing and enjoyable to play. The 'Debussy/Webber Medley' has been one I've performed in concert for a while now and thought it would be enjoyable to add to this CD. 'Canadian Sunset' is such a cool groove and adds a nice feel to this project. Long live my Canadian friends! 'Somewhere My Love' is such a popular song. My wife gets pretty romantic when she hears this so I try to play it as often as possible. 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly' is one I added simply because it is so lilting and joyous.
