About the Artist
Drummer Joe Hunt has toured and recorded with George Russell, Stan Getz and Bill Evans. He left New York in 1971 to teach at Berklee's jazz studies program for 31 years, during which time he also performed with Joe Henderson, Tal Farlow and Kenny Burrell. Product Description
Drummer Joe Hunt himself says: "The date was one of the most satisfying and smoothest I've ever done. This music has the effect of effortless energy and I am anxious for others to hear it. Steve (Rudolph)'s arrangements are exemplary, and the overall performance has much in common with the style of the Bill Evans trios. I enjoy hearing this session again and again."
