About the Artist
Debbie Campbell has been dazzling crowds for nearly 30 years. She began touring nationally while still in her teens with an all-girl band, the Kandy Kanes and then went on to national recording prominance in the 1970's as lead singer for the country-rock band, Buckwheat, on the London label. Since leaving the West Coast and moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, Debbie has become established as a shining light of the now-legendary Tulsa Sound. Her blues-tinged stylings combined with velvet-smooth interpretations of classic standards have established her among the great song stylists of all time. Her current album, "Some of These Days," speaks across generations to a time, a mood and a place that resonate with swinging style, grace and romance. The songs are timeless and Debbie's stylings, along with the scintillating instrumental performances accompanying her, redefine the term "classic."
