This is a CD Tribute to the great Jazz/Blues Artist Joe Williams who gained fame through the legendary Count Basie Orchestra. The songs on the cd are not necessarily the songs that Joe made famous but the songs Joe liked to sing. Barbara's research took her to Mrs. Jill Williams and arranger/composer, Johnny Pate. Norman Simmons had a hand in supplying some of the information being though he worked with Joe for over 20 years.
