Taking a break from the jazz-fusion energies of BeebleBrox, one of Indiana's most active, popular bands of it's genre, Monika Herzig gets to explore her roots in acoustic piano with 'Melody Without Words'.

This is Monika Herzig's new band where she gets to play her first love, the piano. Surrounded by great players, such as Steve Davis on drums, John Huber on bass, and her husband Peter Kienle on guitar, Monika worked up a repertoire of straight ahead jazz. Some songs got a new harmonic and stylistic treatment (such as the Beatles' 'And I Love Her' or Cole Porter's 'So In Love'), others are original compositions. The result is an energetic group with lots of chops and lots of fun just making music.
