Great enclosure.......2007-01-18

I bought this enclosure exactly a year ago. I use it to hold all my backup files and carry them around with me, or if I need to transfer alot of data from one computer to the next.

The best things about this is that it is DEPENDABLE, looks great, and does what it is supposed to.

One of the things that I would have modified about this is I would have put rubber feet on it. When you set it down and begin to plug in the USB cable, the thing slides all over the place: causing a few drops. But... it still works.

I travel with the NexStar every week - at the bottom of a backpack or notebook case - and have never had a problem. In addition, the case and pass-through USB cable (allowing you to use another USB device on the same notebook USB port as the NexStar) are decent quality for this type of lower-cost item.

Hard drive enclosure.......2006-07-19

This hard drive enclosure is compact, stylish, and easy to set up. The encluded travel case makes it simple to bring anywhere.

It had some problems with the screw to lock the case.
Simply, it does not fit!!! The screw is too big for the hole.
Personally, I'd rather recommend other type which does not require any screwing, for the sake of exchanging harddisk without the driver.
